Job Search Strategy That Works
Plan your job search: where to apply, how many applications, and how to track progress.
Job Search Strategy That Works
Set a goal: e.g., 10–15 quality applications per week. Quality means tailoring resume and cover letter to the role. Use job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, company career pages) and don't ignore referrals—they often get priority.
Track applications in a sheet: company, role, date applied, stage, and next step. It helps you follow up and see patterns. Diversify: apply to startups, product companies, and services; different sizes and industries. Don't put all hopes on one or two companies.
Balance applying with preparing: reserve time for interview practice, resume tweaks, and skill-building. Take breaks to avoid burnout. If you're not getting shortlists, get your resume reviewed and refine your target roles.
