Internship Interview Tips for Students

Highlight projects, coursework, and any small gigs or volunteer work. Even class projects and GitHub repos count. Show curiosity and willingness to learn—interns are not expected to know everything.

Prepare to explain what you've learned in relevant subjects (e.g., data structures, DBMS, web development). Be ready for a short coding or problem-solving task. Research the company and the team; mention why you want to intern there specifically.

Dress neatly, be on time, and ask questions like 'What would I work on as an intern?' and 'What do you look for in a successful intern?' Send a thank-you email after the interview.
